Krillocity

Daily race #310 · 7 prompts · 30 seconds

#16

The rapid-fire answer race

Type fast. Swim far.

Seven prompts, thirty seconds each. One correct answer moves your krill forward and sends Momo diving, then the next prompt begins. Wrong answers cost time, not distance.

7 prompts · 30 seconds · one answer per prompt

The loop

Seven prompts. One 3D race.

Thirty seconds a prompt

Read the prompt, type one answer, and press Enter. A correct answer locks the round and jumps you to the next prompt; a wrong answer only costs clock time.

Rare answers swim further

Common answers move 40 metres. The answer nobody else finds can move 1,000 metres and decide the race.

Sixteen lanes, one winner

You race fifteen AI krill down the course. Score as far as you can across seven prompts; the furthest krill at the finish wins.

Questions

Before you dive.

This is the Guessingame 3D single-player take on the race. The live multiplayer version and its accounts are not included.

What is Krillocity?+
Krillocity is a rapid-fire answer race. You get seven prompts, thirty seconds each, and one correct answer per prompt. A correct answer swims your krill forward and advances you to the next prompt. Rarer answers travel further. This version is a single-player 3D race against fifteen AI krill.
What is Momo?+
Momo is the sea bunny dive buddy in the 3D scene. Every correct answer sends her down toward the seabed with a bubble burst and a dive trail, then she swims back up as the next prompt arrives.
How is Krillocity scored?+
Each prompt accepts one correct answer. The distance runs from 40 metres for a common answer to 1,000 metres for the rarest. Your score is the total distance after all seven prompts.
How many prompts are in a race?+
Seven. Each prompt has a thirty second clock and one correct answer. Type an answer and press Enter; if it is accepted, the round locks and the next prompt begins after a short feedback moment.
What happens when I answer wrong?+
A wrong answer is refused. It does not cost distance, but the clock keeps running, so you can try again until the prompt times out. A timeout advances you with zero distance for that round.
How do I advance to the next prompt?+
Land one correct answer. The answer card locks, shows the tier and distance, and the next prompt starts after about 1.5 seconds. If the 30 second clock runs out first, the round advances with no distance.
Can I play against other people?+
This release is a 3D single-player race with AI krill. The original Krillocity supports live multiplayer races with up to sixteen players. Online races need accounts and a realtime server, which are outside this single-player build.
Is Krillocity free?+
Yes. The race is free in your browser, with no account and no download. Progress is not stored; every race starts fresh.
